"Mobile careers" at Aldi Süd

Since summer 2009, the grocery discounter Aldi Süd also banks on mobile recruiting and has expanded its personnel marketing mix by including QR codes on its recruiting posters. By scanning and reading the code, interested parties can use the short link to directly access the campaign's mobile landing page

The page describes the working environment and atmosphere at Aldi Süd and guides users to more in-depth information on career opportunities in the areas of management and IT, open apprenticeship places and opportunities of combining professional training with study. Furthermore, the news area includes current announcements and event news such as the establishment of a blog for apprentices or the company's participation at a recent conference of university graduates. The same site also features apprentices' reports on their experiences. In addition, the header "dates & events" leads visitors to information about all Aldi career events.

What the otherwise well-structured mobile page lacks are specific apprenticeship or job offers and direct application opportunities.
